This year, first year freshmen and transfer students will join together with continuing undergraduates, graduate students, faculty, staff, alumni, parents, and community members to visit more than 40sites across greater Los Angeles. Reaching out to every city council district, volunteers will give service at K-12 schools, food banks, parks, shelters, veterans’ facilities, and neighborhood centers.

Volunteer Day Parking Impact

Lydell Martin

A parking notice has been distributed this week to cars parked on the east side of Gayley Ave (from Strathmore to Veteran) and the east side of Veteran (from Gayley to Sunset) as well as to residents in the area both this and next week.  If you live/park around the Veteran/Gayley area, please make a note about the NO PARKING zones for UCLA Volunteer Day on Tuesday, September 24.  It takes a community effort to load 125 buses and 7000+ volunteers, so we appreciate your help!
