An Annual Affair
UCLA Volunteer Day
In 2009, more than 5,000 first-year students, staff, faculty and alumni took part in the inaugural UCLA Volunteer Day. It was a momentous day that launched the UCLA Volunteer Center and established a new Bruin tradition of service.
On September 29, the Center will celebrate the 10th anniversary of Volunteer Day. In honor of this exciting milestone, volunteers will participate in dozens of service sites around campus, Los Angeles and the world. The UCLA community will come together in a way that engages more Bruins in more places than ever before.
For information about previous Volunteer Days and the day's impact on the community visit volunteer.ucla.edu/volunteer-day.
Participate in Volunteer Day
On Volunteer Day, individuals will serve communities at sites across campus, Los Angeles, and the world. Find a project that matches your passion from the project list, get more details, and sign up to be part of the movement.
The Volunteer Center is located in the James West Alumni Center at 325 Westwood Plaza, Los Angeles, CA 90095.
Reach us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Volunteer Day would not be possible without the help of Bruin volunteers. All UCLA alumni, faculty, staff, parents, students, and community members are invited to participate as volunteers and bring the spirit of volunteerism to service projects across the country.
